Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide private duty nursing care in patients’ homes across a flexible schedule—full-time, part-time, or PRN. RNs will document care with tablets, coordinate with families and clinicians, and support patients’ health outcomes.

Eligible candidates hold an active RN license, CPR certification, and have reliable transportation. We offer a strong benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state where practice.
• Current CPR certification (hands-on component) required.
• TB skin test within last 12 months.
• Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty home nursing care to patients.
• Document care using the tablet and electronic systems in patients’ homes.
• Collaborate with family, caregivers and healthcare team to achieve clinical goals.
• Support patient and family with education and care planning.

Pay Rate: $30-40/HR Depending on case and experience

Qualifications

  • Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
