Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd Wound Care Center in New Albany, IN is seeking a part-time RN to coordinate wound care clinical activities, including planning, implementing and evaluating patient care. The role requires Indiana RN licensure and BLS certification, with HBOT/wound care training within one month of hire.

Experience in wound care strongly preferred. The position offers a regional hospital setting, multidisciplinary teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education within a non-profit organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma RN
• Current Indiana RN License
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider
• Must complete required training for Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care within one month of hire
• 2 years of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical activities of the Wound Healing Center according to hospital and nursing standards
• Plan, implement, evaluate and provide wound care using standard nursing practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support patient care and education

Seeking Wound Care Center RN!

Part-time 3 days/week, 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekends, holidays or on-call

Baptist Health Floyd Wound Care Center is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of wounds, both acute and chronic, using the latest techniques for healing and preservation of limbs while minimizing reoccurrence. Along with more traditional treatment options, the Center offers adjunctive therapies including bio engineered skin substitutes, wound vacuum systems and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). In this role, the RN is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Healing Center. These include, but are not limited to, utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards.
