Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license.
• One year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for acutely ill patients under supervision.
• Perform procedures within the scope of practice set by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.

Position Summary:

The RN works under the supervision of the Director, providing nursing care for acutely ill patients. Performs procedures within the scope of practice as set by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Iowa or a Compact State
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within six months of hire
• One year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Recent RN experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two to three years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• One year of Medical/Surgical or Critical Care nursing experience
