Reports to: Unit Director

FLSA: Non-exempt

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.

License: Current RN license in Arkansas

Certifications: BCLS within 30 days; ACLS within 1 year.

Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, handle stress.

Essential Functions

• Performs care interventions including medication, specimen collection, treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors, communicates patient status.
• Assists with activities of daily living and patient education.
• Collaborates across disciplines for comprehensive care, transfers, and support.
• Acts as patient advocate for physical and emotional well-being.
• Participates in process improvement and assists in orienting new staff and students.
