Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers, newborns, and gynecologic post-procedure patients on a rotating shift. This PRN role emphasizes teamwork, patient education, and safety in a high-acuity obstetric setting.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess and plan individualized care, coordinate with physicians and therapists, and participate in governance and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
