Job summary

Tucson Medical Center (TMC) is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Women's Systems Float Pool. The RN will float between the Main Campus and Rincon Campus, delivering care across Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and Women's Care units.

The ideal candidate has Graduation from an accredited nursing program and at least 1 year of acute care experience; AZ RN license and BLS are required. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered with 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
• One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN licensure permitting work in Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ACLS/PALS may be required in some departments.

Responsibilities

• The Women's Float Pool floats between TMC Main Campus and Rincon Campus, caring for labor and delivery, mother baby, and women's care unit.
• RNs must have the ability to care for labor and delivery Ante-, Intra-, and Postpartum patients, couplet care, and gynecology population.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality patient-centered care and smooth unit operations.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.

EXPERIENCE: One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Some departments such as OR, Ambulatory Surgery, Pediatrics/PICU, PACU, and GI Lab will require advanced life support certification (ACLS and PALS).
