Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Northwest Hospital is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide high-quality cardiac-focused nursing care, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Applicants should hold an active Maryland RN license or Compact license, with ADN or BSN. BLS is required; ACLS preferred or obtained within 6 months. Prior PCU/telemetry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• Experience: less than one year for essential role.

Registered Nurse - Weekend

Join a growing healthcare system at LifeBridge Health's Northwest Hospital as a Registered Nurse on our Progressive Care Unit (PCU ). The Progressive Care Unit is a cornerstone of acute patient care, managing 35+ patients with diverse needs including telemetry monitoring, complex cardiac procedures, and medical-surgical recovery.

What You\'ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for patients with complex cardiac diagnoses


• Use critical thinking to assess patient status and respond with evidence-based interventions


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes


• Participate in ongoing learning with access to clinical educators, in-services, and hands‑on training

Credentials:

Experience:

Essential:

• Less than one year

Active Maryland RN license or Compact State license

ADN or BSN required (BSN preferred)

BLS required (AHA); ACLS preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Previous PCU, telemetry, step‑down, or med‑surg experience preferred

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
