Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Northwest Hospital in Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide compassionate nursing care to patients with complex cardiac diagnoses and use critical thinking to monitor status and intervene.

This role supports collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing learning through clinical educators, in-services, and hands-on training, with strong focus on telemetry and step-down care.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact State license
• BSN preferred
• BLS required (AHA); ACLS preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Previous PCU, telemetry, step-down, or med-surg experience preferred
• Experience: Essential: Less than one year.

Join a growing healthcare system at LifeBridge Health's Northwest Hospital as a Registered Nurse on our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The Progressive Care Unit is a cornerstone of acute patient care, managing 35+ patients with diverse needs including telemetry monitoring, complex cardiac procedures, and medical-surgical recovery.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for patients with complex cardiac diagnoses
• Use critical thinking to assess patient status and respond with evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
• Participate in ongoing learning with access to clinical educators, in-services, and hands-on training

Credentials:

Experience: Essential: Less than one year.

Active Maryland RN license or Compact State license

ADN or BSN required (BSN preferred)

BLS required (AHA); ACLS preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Previous PCU, telemetry, step-down, or med-surg experience preferred

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
