Job summary

Baystate Health in Springfield, MA, is seeking an inpatient Registered Nurse for Wesson 3 at Baystate Medical Center. The role requires a MA RN license, a nursing diploma, and CPR certification, with at least 1 year of RN experience.

The position is full-time on the night shift (7p-7:30a) with every other weekend and rotating holidays, at our academic medical center offering robust benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Diploma in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care on Wesson 3 at Baystate Medical Center.
• Adhere to nursing standards and participate in patient care planning.
• Rotate shifts as scheduled for full-time night shift (7p-7:30a) with weekends/holidays.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

• Wesson 3 contains 24 beds and 12 telemetry monitors




• Wesson 3 services a wide variety of patients aged 22 to 100 + with common diagnoses that may include: Renal/Dialysis patients, sepsis, cellulitis, behavioral health, GI bleed, transplant (kidney), syncope/respiratory.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time, night shift (7p-730a)




• Every other weekend and rotating holidays




• Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts




• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
