Job summary

Whitney Rehabilitation Care Center is seeking a qualified RN Nursing Supervisor to oversee weekend operations and lead the nursing team at our facility.

The ideal candidate will have proven RN supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage admissions, rounds, and staffing in a fast-paced environment.

This weekend shift is part-time from 7a-3pm, with benefits such as PTO and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

Position Summary

Whitney Rehabilitation Care Centeris seeking a qualified RN Nursing Supervisor to oversee patients and manage the nursing team of our facility on weekend. Our ideal candidate has solid experience as a RN Supervisor. This position requires team management skills, problem-solving attitude and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:

• Oversee the nursing department for clinical and staffing needs.

• Manage admissions and discharges.

• Supervise nursing staff assigned and allocateduties to LPNs and nursing assistants, as needed.

• Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status of residents.

• Implement established nursing policies and procedures.

• Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic protocols

• Respond to need for staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff.

• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
