Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery on 3W. This full-time weekend shift (36 hours/week) offers nights from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and requires current RN licensure and a nursing degree.
You will deliver patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework, coordinate with multiple departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and support supervision and ongoing education.
Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Schedule: Full-time, Weekend | 36 hours/week
Shift: Nights 7:00pm - 7:00am
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Certification
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisor experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Physical Requirements
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
