The Missouri Veterans Commission is seeking dedicated LPNs and RNs to care for our nation’s veterans. You will assess needs, plan care, administer medications, document in EMR, and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans.

Qualifikationen

• Missouri RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate nurse eligibility per MO Board of Nursing rules.

Aufgaben

• Assess, organize, and plan staff duties on assigned shift.
• Assess Veteran needs and ensure services meet those needs.
• Implement Veteran MDS and care plan per healthcare protocol.
• Make rounds with the physician and relay patient status.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations in EMR.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with follow-up.
• Assist Veterans with transfers, positioning, feeding, elimination, hygiene.
• Assist Veterans upon admission and/or discharge.
• Participate in unit staff orientation.
