Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapies, coordinating with the nursing team, maintaining documentation, and ensuring infection control practices. GA RN licensure is required.

Etowah Landing Care & Rehabilitation Center is located in picturesque Rome, Georgia. Our mission is providing a home setting while maintaining the highest quality care and treatment to all of our residents. We offer short-term, long-term, and ventilator care in our 100 bed facility.

RN VENT UNIT Day Shift Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday

$35.00/hour base pay

$5.00/hr vent pay

Shift differentials: $1.50/hr - 2nd shift, $1.00/hr - 3rd shift, $2.00/hr - weekends

Responsibilities of our Registered Nurse (VENT UNIT) include:

• Administration of respiratory care modalities/procedures upon the order of the physician in our Vent Unit.
• Carrying out respiratory care procedures as outlined within acceptable standards and practices.
• Walk-thru shift start/end clinical reports with on-coming respiratory/nursing personnel.
• Sharing/receiving relevant and vital information for the effective resident plan of care.
• Complying with Policy-Procedure regarding medical record documentation.
• Demonstrates the required clinical skills to ensure safe and effective respiratory care therapy.
• Ensuring timeliness of all treatments and ventilator clinical rounds surveillance.
• Provides timely, accurate and effective resident respiratory evaluations in response to care needs.
• Always maintains infection control practices inclusive of disposable supply changes.
• Timely transport of respiratory residents within Facility & OOB assistance as needed.
• Responding to continuous ventilator alarming within 15 second time interval.
• Present friendly and caring bedside manner to all residents.
