Job summary

Etowah Landing Care & Rehabilitation Center in Rome, Georgia, seeks a GA-licensed Registered Nurse for night shifts to provide high-quality care in a 100-bed facility. You will participate in handoffs, care planning, and timely treatments while maintaining infection control and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely treatments, conducting resident evaluations, and delivering compassionate bedside care.

Qualifications

• GA RN license required.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation and infection control procedures.

• Walk-thru shift start/end clinical reports with on-coming nursing personnel.
• Share/receive relevant information for the resident plan of care.
• Comply with policy/procedure regarding medical record documentation.
• Ensure timeliness of treatments and clinical rounds.

• Maintain infection control practices and appropriate supply handling.
• Demonstrate friendly bedside manner to residents.

Etowah Landing Care & Rehabilitation Center is located in picturesque Rome, Georgia. Our mission is providing a home setting while maintaining the highest quality care and treatment to all of our residents. We offer short-term, long-term, and ventilator care in our 100 bed facility.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7PM - 7AM

$35.00/hour base pay

$5.00/hr vent pay if working vent unit

Shift differentials: $1.50/hr - 2nd shift, $1.00/hr - 3rd shift, $2.00/hr - weekends

Responsibilities of our Registered Nurse include:

• Walk-thru shift start/end clinical reports with on-coming nursing personnel.
• Sharing/receiving relevant and vital information for the effective resident plan of care.
• Complying with Policy-Procedure regarding medical record documentation.
• Ensuring timeliness of all treatments clinical rounds surveillance.
• Provides timely, accurate and effective resident evaluations in response to care needs.
• Always maintains infection control practices inclusive of disposable supply changes.
• Present friendly and caring bedside manner to all residents.
