Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Staff Nurse for the Vascular Access Team at Evanston Hospital. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with day and evening shifts and a requirement for IL licensure and BLS/CPR. PICC insertion certification is due within 6 months of hire; BSN encouraged.

Salary starts with a base that rises to at least $37.25/hour from the second October paycheck; the compensation plan includes premium pay and annual increases based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care on a specific unit.

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Position: Staff Nurse, Vascular Access Team

Location: Vascular Access Team, Evanston Hospital

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 36 hr/wk

Hours: Day & Evening shifts (Vascular Access Team members must be comfortable working 8 and 10 hour shifts with staggering start and stop times)

What you will need :

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: 3+ years' experience in comparable role preferred; PICC insertion certification required within 6 months of hire

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
