Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Vascular Access Team at Evanston Hospital. This full-time role involves providing nursing care, planning and evaluating patient care, and coordinating with a cross-disciplinary team on a vascular access unit.

The ideal candidate holds IL nursing licensure, NLN-accredited program completion (BSN preferred), and BLS/CPR certification; 3+ years of experience is preferred with PICC certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

• Position: Staff Nurse, Vascular Access Team
• Location: Vascular Access Team, Evanston Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 36 hr/wk
• Hours: Day & Evening shifts(Vascular Access Team members must be comfortable working 8 and 10 hour shifts with staggering start and stop times)
• Required Travel: N/A

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: 3+ years' experience in comparable role preferred; PICC insertion certification required within 6 months of hire
