Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Vascular Access Team at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This full-time role offers day and evening shifts, with 36 hours per week and 8- and 10-hour shifts as needed.

Candidates should hold IL nursing licensure, NLN-accredited education, and BLS/CPR certification; PICC certification is required within 6 months of hire. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• 3+ years’ experience in comparable role preferred; PICC insertion certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 36 hr/wk
• Hours: Day & Evening shifts (Vascular Access Team members must be comfortable working 8 and 10 hour shifts with staggering start and stop times)

What You Will Need
