AtlantiCare is looking for a Registered Nurse Health Services to join our multidisciplinary team in Somers Point, New Jersey. The RN will coordinate patient care, conduct assessments, and ensure quality service within the practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of clinical experience, including pediatric care, and a valid New Jersey Nursing license.

The Registered Nurse Health Services is a member of the multidisciplinary team working in collaboration with the physician. The RN utilizes the care process consistent with their license or certification including initiation of interventions within individual scope of practice. The RN is also responsible for overseeing coordination of the multidisciplinary plan of care and ensuring its consistency with the medical treatment plan. The patient care process includes:

Education: Graduate of an Accredited school of Nursing required. Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
License: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Valid New Jersey Driver’s license preferred. BLS/HCP required. ACLS required. ACLS is not required for Urgent Care Settings.
Experience: 3-5 years clinical experience including pediatric experience required; demonstrated leadership ability; strong organizational skills preferred. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
Potential for exposure to hazards and risk of the hospital environment, blood borne pathogens, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position involves considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, extensive standing, sitting and walking, the majority of the workday. Lifting approximately 25-50 pounds with assistance. Periodic travel to off-site locations is expected. This position requires handling heavy mental stress and large numbers of interactions with multiple individuals, often with interruptions. This position reports to the Practice Manager or the Administrator-Ambulatory Services.
