Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is a leading provider of spine and joint care in Georgia.

Under general supervision of a licensed provider, as a Registered Nurse for Triage Line one must be detail oriented with excellent phone call diction and outstanding customer service skills. We are seeking motivated individuals who can problem‑solve and multitask in a fast‑paced practice. Gain skill and knowledge of organization policies and procedures in support of the department.

This position is a full‑time, benefited role at Summit Spine & Joint Centers that reports to the ASC Director. The primary location will be at the Administrative Building in Lawrenceville, GA.

Responsibilities

• Review a patient’s medical history to determine symptoms and severity of illness or injury.
• Manage the internal nurse phone line by taking inbound calls to assist patients with preoperative and postoperative needs.
• Initiate emergency interventions when needed.
• Update patient information in electronic medical records system.
• Communicate with various administrative teams to ensure the proper flow of information to support patient care.
• Monitor vital signs.
• Educate patients and family members.
• Follow all company policies on patient services standards.

Skills and Abilities

• Experience in a hospital setting required.
• Good standing RN Compact License.
• ACLS Certified.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Bilingual candidates preferred (or able to manage the usage of a language line).
