Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse - Traveler for a 14-week assignment on the Medical-Surgical unit. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient MS RN bedside experience, with Epic documentation proficiency and active VA RN licensure.

The shift is days (7a-7p) with a pay rate of $75 per hour. Ideal candidates will have ACLS and BLS certifications and strong critical thinking skills as part of the nursing process and

• Epic documentation experience required

The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
