Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a 14-week temporary assignment, with 12-hour shifts covering days and nights. This primary position requires flexibility and is not scheduled around other jobs.

Minimum education includes ADN/BSN or Diploma in Nursing, and VA RN licensure eligibility. EPIC experience is strongly preferred, with at least 2 years of recent ED bedside RN experience.

• EPIC user STRONGLY preferred.

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
