Job summary

Incredible Health seeks a Registered Nurse - Telemetry in Old Bridge, NJ to monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer treatments, and collaborate with a care team to adjust plans for cardiac patients.

The RN will educate patients and families on heart health, document patient progress in the EMR, and work across shifts (day, night, mid) with full-time, part-time, or per diem options.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing; one year of cardiac telemetry or related cardiac care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• Proficient in interpreting EKG rhythms and other cardiac monitoring techniques.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and vital signs, identifying distress or abnormal patterns.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per the plan of care.
• Collaborate with providers to adjust the care plan based on cardiac status.
• Educate patients and families on heart health, treatments, and home care when applicable.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient condition and progress in EMR.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
