The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS from the American Heart Association, with 1 year of telemetry or related cardiac care experience. EMR proficiency and EKG interpretation are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing

• 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient\'s cardiac status
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient\'s condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
