Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide a full range of nursing services to patients, applying the nursing process with clinical competence and a strong patient-care focus.

You will work within the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's domains, delivering patient-centered care across departments while maintaining cost-conscious practices. Weekend coverage may apply with shift premiums and similar incentives.

Qualifications

• Must hold Michigan RN license or be eligible within 60 days.
• BLS Provider certification (AHA) within 90 days, or current instructor.
• Graduate of an approved professional RN nursing program.
• No additional preference.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical competence, compassion, and cost-consciousness in care delivery.

Job description

• Weekendhours are defined as 3:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday.The 3rd day will be based on the needs of the department.All qualified hours on the weekend are eligible for a $15/hour weekend premium

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Uses independent professional judgment, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes, and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or Certified Instructor.
• Education: Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
