Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - Telemetry in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering treatments, and collaborating to optimize patient care for high-acuity cardiac patients. Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts, with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Active RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required. Experience in cardiac telemetry and EMR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree; active RN license.
• 1 year of cardiac telemetry or related cardiac care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and vital signs, identify distress or abnormal patterns.
• Administer medications and interventions per medical plan of care.
• Collaborate with providers to adjust care plan focusing on cardiac status.
• Educate patients and families on heart health and home care instructions.
• Document patient condition, treatment, and progress accurately.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: COVID, Cardiac drips, Cardiac monitor, Cardioversion, Defibrillation, Device experience, EKG monitoring, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient's cardiac status
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $60,000 to $100,000 /year
