Incredible Health is seeking Hospitals in the Burbank, CA area actively hiring a Registered Nurse - Telemetry. The role focuses on cardiac rhythm monitoring for high-acuity patients with day, night, and mid shifts available.

As a telemetry RN, you will monitor rhythms, administer treatments, and educate patients and families while collaborating with physicians. Requirements include ADN or higher, CA RN license, 1 year telemetry, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• RN license must be active and unencumbered
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac telemetry or related cardiac care experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and vital signs; identify distress or abnormal patterns
• Administer medications and interventions per care plan
• Collaborate with providers to evaluate and modify the care plan as needed
• Educate patients and families on heart health and home care instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital policies

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient's cardiac status
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
