Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit (4D). This part-time position covers Day and Overnight shifts, totaling 48 hours per pay period.

The 35-bed unit cares for adolescent to geriatric patients requiring Q2-Q4 hour nursing interventions. Minimum BSN or progress toward it, at least 1 year nursing experience (2+ preferred in acute care), Delaware license eligibility, BLS, and ACLS within 1 year are required.

• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required.
• Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.

Registered Nurse on Inpatient Surgical Intermediate/Step-Down Unit- Part Time - Day/Midnights Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This is a 35-bed Intermediate Care/Stepdown inpatient unit, caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This unit cares for patients requiring nursing interventions Q2-Q4 hours. Requirements:

Hours

Hours: This is a part-time position of 48 hours per pay/24 hours per week. The hours for this position are Days 7a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Overnights of 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. This requires a weekend rotation and follows internal weekend requirement practice. Holidays required per organization policy.

Hourly Pay Range

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
