PCU Surgical Oncology (WT12) is populated mostly by gynecologic oncology patients. These are women with ovarian, cervical, vaginal, vulva, & endometrial cancers. We typically see these patients when they come in for surgery, either to have their mass removed or a total abdominal hysterectomy. Any empty rooms are typically filled with overflow from the other oncology units, so we see all types of cancer on this unit.
