Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced RN for a Day Shift - Full Time position on a MedSurg unit. The unit focuses on pancreatic, colorectal, and head/neck cancers with high acuity surgical care and peer-to-peer collaboration.
The RN must hold an Indiana RN license (NLC acceptable) and an accredited nursing program diploma. ASN is required; BSN preferred. BLS certification is required, with other ALS as needed per policy. Join IU Health for a supportive, patient-centered environment.

This position is referral eligible and currently qualifies for a NEW hourly location differential in addition to standard shift and holiday differentials.
About the Unit:
This unit specializes in Surgical Oncology, specifically: pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, and ear/nose/and throat cancers. Additionally, the unit often sees surgical interventions, related to upper\lower GI, as well as medical patients on shifts.This unit does not administer chemo. This is a high functioning, fast paced surgical and specialized care unit. Clinical Nurses will be a part of a lot of peer-to-peer team collaboration and decision making for recovering post-surgical patients with a cancer diagnosis.This unit at University Hospital provides a phenomenal learning and collaborative environment within a high acuity setting for all nurses. We were recently recognized for going over a year without any accidents.
