Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care, maintains a safe environment, educates patients and families about health practices and treatments, ensures continuity of care, coordinates care across settings, manages information, communicates effectively, and utilizes technology. The nursing process includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
