Job summary

Mercy Clinic Springfield - Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time position (3 days per week). You will provide direct patient care across all ages, coordinate with ancillary teams, and uphold nursing standards in line with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and Mercy values.

Required education: graduate of an approved nursing school and maintain RN licensure in state or compact licensure; BLS/ACLS per role.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing.
• Licensure: RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS as required by role; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Monitors and coordinates patient care with ancillary departments to optimize outcomes.
• Functions within nursing practice scope per Missouri Nurse Practice Act and Mercy standards.

Overview:

Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. Other certifications as required by role
