Genesiscareers is seeking an RN Supervisor in Scarborough, ME to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a long-term care setting.

You will lead nursing units on a rotating shift, mentor staff, and help ensure safe, compliant care 24/7. This role requires RN licensure and BSN is preferred; benefits include health plans, retirement options, and employee assistance programs.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Facilitate care delivery model implementation, mentoring staff, and coordinating with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 care.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for promotions/transfers/terminations.

Responsibilities

• Standard shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• Flexible scheduling available with opportunities for 8-hour, 12-hour, or 16-hour shifts
• Competitive pay: $40.00–$47.50/hour based on experience
• Weekend Warrior incentive: +$3.00/hour for working weekends
• Weekend shift differentials:
  • +$1.50/hour for weekend day shifts
  • +$4.50/hour for weekend evening shifts
• +$2.00/hour House Supervisor differential when working in the House Supervisor role

The RN Supervisor supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
