Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, near Myrtle Beach, SC, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor for the 7:00pm – 7:30am shift. You will lead nursing staff, oversee after-hours clinical areas, and collaborate with physicians, the Administrator-on-Call, and the DON to deliver safe psychiatric care.

Requirements include 2–3 years of nursing supervisor experience, SC RN license, and CPI preferred. BSN is preferred; strong staffing and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of nursing supervisor experience minimum.
• Current license in good standing in the State of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• CPI Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee after-hours clinical areas.
• Arrange staffing to match census and patient acuity per grids.
• Oversee all codes and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with admissions for after-hours admissions and discharges.
• Liaise with physicians, Administrator-on-Call and DON.

House Supervisor (RN) 7p-7a full-time

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24‑hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services. LBHH is seeking dynamic Nurse Supervisors (RN) for nightshift 7:00pm – 7:30am. As Nurse Supervisor you are directly responsible to the Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager for quality care to psychiatric patients, residents, family members and all customer groups. Exercises independent judgment supervising the staff involved in providing nursing care and in the oversight of clinical areas during after‑hours. Works closely with all members of the treatment team and keeps both the physicians, Administrator‑On‑Call (AOC) and DON informed of issues that arise. Controls FTEs and arranges staffing for nursing units in accordance with staffing grids, census and patient acuity. Responsible for supervising all nursing service staff and using discretion, handles patient complaints. Works closely with admissions regarding patients being admitted after hours and those being discharged. Oversees all codes and ensures proper documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of nursing supervisor experience at minimum
• Management/ Leadership Experience Preferred.
• Current license in good standing in the State of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse.
