Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, part of University Health Services (UHS), seeks a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing staff 7:00 pm–7:30 am and support quality care for psychiatric patients and those with substance use or rehab needs.

You’ll report to the Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager, coordinating with physicians and the DON, ensuring proper staffing, codes handling, and patient flow after hours. A strong leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of nursing supervisor experience minimum.
• Management/leadership experience preferred.
• Current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse (SC).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• CPI Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of ANA nursing standards and Federal/State guidelines.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Accuracy in documentation is mandatory.
• Excellent supervisory and organizational skills.
• Planning, organization, implementation and assessment skills.
• Ability to motivate, evaluate and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee clinical areas during after-hours.

• Oversee all codes and ensure proper documentation.

House Supervisor (RN) 7a-7p full-time

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24-hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services.

LBHH is seeking dynamic Nurse Supervisors (RN) for nightshift 7:00pm - 7:30am. As Nurse Supervisor you are directly responsible to the Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager for quality care to psychiatric patients, residents, family members and all customer groups. Exercises independent judgment supervising the staff involved in providing nursing care and in the oversight of clinical areas during after- hours. Works closely with all members of the treatment team and keeps both the physicians, Administrator-On-Call (AOC) and DON informed of issues that arise. Controls FTEs and arranges staffing for nursing units in accordance with staffing grids, census and patient acuity. Responsible for supervising all nursing service staff and using discretion, handles patient complaints. Works closely with admissions regarding patients being admitted after hours and those being discharged. Oversees all codes and ensures proper documentation.

Qualifications
