Accolade Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a Nurse Supervisor, Registered Nurse (RN). This leadership role focuses on directing nursing staff, guiding the nursing process, and coordinating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote patient health and recovery.

The Nurse Supervisor will supervise team members, ensure accurate transcription and notification of new physician orders, and maintain high standards of care and safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Wound Certification/experience preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Illinois Board of Nursing.

• Identify patient care requirements by establishing rapport with patients and families.
• Foster a compassionate environment and provide emotional support.
• Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Ensure quality of care by adhering to standards and measuring outcomes.
• Resolve patient problems using multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with procedures and regulations.
• Protect patients and staff by following infection control and medication procedures.
• Assist nurses with documentation, organization, and supervision on the unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
