Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center 3T - Solid Tumor/Women’s/Gyne Oncology is a fast-paced 36-bed oncology unit focusing on patients with various solid tumor diagnoses and gynecological surgeries. The team emphasizes inclusivity, teamwork, and exemplary patient care.
This is a 40-hour role with 2 12-hour shifts and 2 8-hour shifts.
Job Summary
Responsible for direct patient care and assisting the manager with daily operations, including care coordination, resource allocation, communication, patient throughput, program development, staff development, clinical supervision, performance appraisal, quality improvement, service recovery, and regulatory compliance. Maintains clinical and professional competency relevant to the patient population served.

Physical Requirements
Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting (up to 35 pounds), reaching, stooping, and other physical activities. Must speak and understand English fluently, have good senses, finger dexterity, and critical thinking skills.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing school, current RN licensure, preferred two years nursing experience, BSN required, enrollment in a BSN program if applicable, BLS and professional certifications within specified timeframes. Additional qualifications may be required by the department.
