Job summary

Ryders Health Management seeks an experienced RN Supervisor for Greentree Manor in Waterford, CT. This full-time role oversees nursing staff on the 3:00pm-11:00pm shift, guiding patient care and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Strong leadership and clinical skills are essential to maintain high-quality, resident-centered care. You will mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, coordinate care transitions, and ensure accurate documentation across care plans and records.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• Minimum experience as an RN in long-term care or skilled nursing; supervisory/charge-nurse preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to assess resident needs, coordinate care, respond to changes and make clinical judgments.
• Dependable with good attendance and ability to work collaboratively with care team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage nursing staff on your shift, ensuring care delivery meets facility standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform or oversee resident assessments, monitor health status, and coordinate with physicians and care team as needed.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance (resident records, care plans, incident reports, regulatory paperwork, shift handoffs).
• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges; coordinate with departments for smooth transitions of care.
• Provide direct nursing care when necessary (medications, treatments, IVs, specimen collection) during shortages or emergencies.
• Mentor and support assigned staff, provide guidance, and act as point of contact for staff and resident/family issues.
• Ensure unit compliance with facility policies, state/federal regulations, safety and infection-control standards.

PAY RANGE:

Salary- $105,000. -$115,000.

Sign-On Bonus-$2500.00
