Job summary

Purpose:

To oversee the administration and coordination of medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.

Qualifications:

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse license
• Must possess strong clinical skills with at least 3-year supervisory experience
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates and oversees health services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeing
• Supervises nurses and CNAs and provides constructive feedback and training through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring
• Creates a positive interacting team which collaboratively works with all disciplines
• Ensures all documentation is completed according to regulatory requirements
• Acts as liaison between hospitals and other medical professionals advocating for least restrictive measures and protection of rights
• Performs all professional duties within the scope of licensure and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
• Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required as this job entails direct care of adults and children receiving services.
• Employees are required to communicate, both orally and in writing, with staff and others regarding medical care, supports, and services.
• This requirement includes the ability to effectively communicate in English including medical terminology.
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Salary: $75,000.00
