Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to oversee the administration and coordination of medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will supervise nurses and CNAs, ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements, and collaborate with hospitals and other professionals to advocate for the least restrictive measures.

Qualifications

• Supervises nurses and CNAs, providing feedback and training.
• Coordinates health services per individual plans for optimal wellbeing.
• Performs duties within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and coordination of medical services for individuals with IDD.
• Liaise between hospitals and medical professionals to advocate for least restrictive measures.
• Ensure all health documentation complies with regulations and standards.
• Provide mentorship and role modeling to clinical staff.
• Engage collaboratively with all disciplines to support person-centered care.
