- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Your role as a Registered Nurse Supervisor will be crucial in providing high-quality nursing care and maintaining a therapeutic environment for our residents. You will oversee and provide guidance to nursing staff on designated units as well as ensure that our facility meets HIPPA standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting rehabilitation, restorative, skilled, supportive, and palliative nursing care to enhance the quality of life for our residents. By effectively carrying out these responsibilities, you have the power to positively impact the lives of our residents and improve their overall well-being.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Special Requirements:
- This positions requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
