Job summary

Oak Orchard Health seeks a Nurse Supervisor (RN) in New York to lead a team of LPNs, MAs, and support staff while staying clinically engaged. The role emphasizes mentoring, scheduling, and collaboration with Nursing leadership to drive quality care across community health centers.

You will balance administration with hands-on patient care, participate in performance evaluations, and support ongoing education for nursing staff in a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New York State.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of LPNs, Medical Assistants, and support staff.
• Create and manage nursing schedules, including coverage for call-ins.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing and Clinic Operations Manager on staffing, performance, and workflow.
• Mentor, train, and onboard new nursing staff.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and skills assessments.
• Facilitate monthly nursing meetings and ongoing education opportunities.
• Oversee clinical supply ordering and medication samples.
• Serve as Vaccine Coordinator, ensuring proper storage, inventory, and compliance.
• Provide guidance on clinical matters and step in for hands-on patient care as needed.

What You’ll Do:
