• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Unit Springfield 6400 serves a wide variety of patients aged 22 to 100+ with common diagnoses that may include: acute or chronic conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, infections processes, behavioral health, neurological & circulatory impairment, kidney disease, and diabetes.

The unit has 32 beds, 16 semi-private rooms, and they have completed several nurse driven change projects including activity/mobility tool, acuity based assignments, capacity management workflow, and foley utilization.

The Manager is dedicated to professional growth and the nursing model of care, and the unit has a close partnership with Physician Medical Director.

We provide supportive, individualized, and tailored orientation.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time, night shift (7p-730a) - (3) 12 hour shifts
• Every other weekend, rotating holidays
• Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
