The Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a Registered Nurse Specialist to conduct inspections of health care facilities under the state licensure and federal certification requirements. The role involves documenting findings and preparing written survey reports, with potential to work individually or as part of a team or team leader.

Candidates must meet nursing licensure requirements and can be required to work weekends, holidays, and during emergencies.

Formación

• RN licensure in Florida per Statute 464 is required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct inspections using the survey process.
• Evaluate facilities for state licensure and federal Medicare/Medicaid certification.
• Document findings and write survey reports.
• May perform surveys solo, as a team member, or as team leader.
• Complete required Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test within 12 months.
