Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC seeks an experienced RN for Special Procedures to provide professional nursing care and assume charge nurse duties when assigned.

You will collaborate with radiology staff, physicians, and support teams, monitor patient care, administer medications as ordered, and ensure safe, compassionate treatment for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state license.
• Greater than one year of experience in Radiology, Interventional Radiology or critical care nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs and plans appropriate nursing actions.
• Organizes, implements and evaluates patient care across shifts.
• Maintains safe environment and accurate patient records.
• Administers medications as ordered by physicians.
• Acts as charge nurse as assigned and participates in team leadership.
• Collaborates with radiology staff, physicians and other health system staff.
• Monitors care quality using outcome-oriented indicators and cost containment.
