Job summary

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami is seeking a Registered Nurse for Special Procedures to deliver direct and indirect patient care in the Imaging Center. You will communicate with physicians about clinical changes, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results, and respond promptly to evolving conditions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, performance improvement participation, and adherence to unit standards in a high acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• ACLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of start date).
• BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of start date).
• 1–3 years Special Procedures/Cath Lab experience preferred.
• 1–3 years ICU or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Imaging Center.
• Communicate patient changes to physicians including hemodynamic data.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
• Participate in CQI and performance improvement activities.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Imaging Center. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1-3 years of Special Procedure or Cath Lab experience preferred
• 1-3 year of ICU or ED
