Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support women with complex pregnancies in antepartum care across short-term and extended hospital stays. The role offers relocation assistance, benefits starting day one, and a strong clinical ladder for career advancement.

You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in appropriate state
• One year relevant nursing experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required

Responsibilities

• Assess Patients: conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze clinical data, identify care needs and anticipate changes in patient condition.
• Develop Care Plans: collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to create individualized plans of care based on patient goals.
• Provide Nursing Care: implement care plans, administer medications, perform nursing procedures, educate patients and families, respond to emergencies.
• Evaluate Outcomes: monitor progress, assess responses to interventions, modify plans to achieve outcomes.
• Communicate Effectively: use SBARQ and ensure safe handoffs and documentation.
• Delegate Responsibly: assign tasks while maintaining patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Promote Professional Practice: adhere to nursing standards, evidence-based practice and regulatory requirements.
• Support Team Success: mentor colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
