Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse in Elmhurst, IL to deliver safe, compassionate care and manage patient plans. You will collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care in a fast-paced NICU setting.

The role requires an RN license in Illinois, BLS certification, and NICU Level 3 experience; a 36-hour night schedule with rotating weekends/holidays is offered along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• NICU Level 3 RN experience preferred.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) within six months of start date.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Position Highlights:

Sign On Bonus: $25,000 for candidates with at least 18 months of experience within Special care nursery clinical specialty (with parameters)

Special Care Nursery is a level 2E

Location: Elmhurst, IL

Full Time 36 hours

Hours: Nights 7 PM - 7 AM rotating weekends and rotating holidays required

A Brief Overview:

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need:

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing


• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)


• High preferred 2 years of NICU Level 3 RN experience


• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure


• Current BLS through American Heart Association


• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) within six months of start date into position
