Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license (or compact license) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, acute care, or continuing care preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to skilled nursing patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy services, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and recovery goals.
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
• Uphold Baylor Scott & White standards for safety, quality, and service excellence.
