Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking Registered Nurses for the Medical Telemetry Unit at Temple, Texas. This full-time night shift (7pm-7am) offers 36 hours per week in a 38-bed telemetry unit. The role emphasizes direct, individualized patient care and collaboration with a supportive team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Telemetry Unit.
• Monitor and assess patients with various diagnoses, including sepsis and cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to clinical standards and safety protocols.

We Have a Varied Medical/telemetry Population Including

• Sepsis
• Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress
• Chest Pain
• Infection
• Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
• Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
• Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
• Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities

Requirements Of The Ideal Candidate

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing
• ADN required
