Job summary

Carrie Elligson Gietner Health Care Center in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to care for residents, develop and implement individualized care plans, and work closely with the care team. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, document progress in the electronic medical record, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with other professionals.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 1 year RN experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health needs and develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report changes
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Document patients’ progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills
• Other duties as assigned
